Los Altos

Los Altos lots are generous, and that opens up projects we cannot do on a quarter-acre in town: a gazebo or pergola set well away from the house, a wide paver terrace, a run of low stone wall that defines a garden room instead of just holding back dirt.

Structures on this scale live or die on the footings. Posts go into concrete at proper depth, framing is pressure-treated wherever it meets the ground, hardware is galvanized or stainless, and the whole thing gets stained or sealed before it sees its first winter.

Larger grounds also need real upkeep, so many Los Altos and Los Altos Hills clients pair a build with weekly maintenance. Same crew, same day, mow and edge, seasonal pruning, bed weeding, and irrigation checks folded into the rotation.
